Britney Spears In Talks To Rehire Manager Larry Rudolph

Singer Britney Spears is reportedly giving serious consideration to rehiring former manager Larry Rudolph, the man who helped her rise to pop superstardom.

Britney is currently unable to legally rehire Rudolph herself because her father is currently the conservator of her estate and will be making all of her legal and financial decisions at least through July 31, 2008 per the court. However, sources say that Spears' father Jamie will more than likely agree to bringing back Rudolph as Britney's manager because once Britney regains legal control and no longer needs a conservator, she will probably undo all the decisions made by her dad.

This may be a very smart move for Ms. Spears to join forces with Larry Rudolph again.

Rapper Remy Ma Convicted On Four Charges In Manhattan Criminal Court

Rapper Remy Ma (formerly Remy Martin) was been convicted on four charges today in Manhattan Criminal Court in NYC. The charges the rapper have been convicted of are first-degree assault, attempted coercion, possession of a deadly weapon, and felony assault. The charges stem from an incident that took place outside of an eatery/bar on West 14th Street in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, NYC last summer. In this incident, Remy shot a long-term friend of hers after a dispute over $3,000 in cash missing from the rapper's purse.

Remy was cleared of the gang assault and witness tampering charges she previously faced for this same incident. The rapper was also cleared of three additional charges she previously faced stemming from this incident last year.

Inside the courthouse, the victim's friends and family taunted Remy Ma when the verdicts were read. Remy Ma was then handcuffed and taken away by officers after she was found guilty on the four charges. Reportedly, Remy cried, "Oh My God" as they escorted her out of the courtroom.

Remy faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.

Remy Ma was initially a part of the extremely successful hip-hop music clique Terror Squad, led by rapper Fat Joe, but went solo after several personal disputes with Fat Joe and others in Terror Squad. The rapper was still friendly with Fat Joe when she was featured on the popular single by Terror Squad entitled "Lean Back".
