Paris Hilton's Apology

Paris Hilton has released the following statement through a member of her legal team, attorney Richard Hutton:

"After reading the media's coverage of my court hearing, I feel the need to correct what I believe are misperceptions about me. I absolutely realize how serious driving under the influence is. I could not live with myself if anyone was injured or killed while I was driving while impaired. Clearly, no one should -- no matter how slightly.I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. No one is above the law. I surely am not. I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else who violated probation. However, my hope is that I will not be treated worse."

THIS WOMAN HAS LEARNED HER LESSON.

SHE APOLOGIZED, BOTH IN COURT AND IN THIS STATEMENT.

Elliot and Paris Together Again/The Purpose of Taking a Stand For Paris

Elliot Mintz is once again representing Paris Hilton as her publicist.

He seems to be a great supporter of Paris, and proved so by continuing to support her fully after he was no longer representing her over the weekend.

ATTENTION
RE: PARIS HILTON PETITION I CREATED

THE PURPOSE OF THE PARIS HILTON PETITION IS TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE INJUSTICE SHE MUST ENDURE AS A RESULT OF HER JAIL SENTENCE. THE PURPOSE IS NOT TO USE MS. HILTON'S STATUS AS AN EXCUSE FOR HER TO BE PARDONED. SHE SHOULD BE ALLOWED A CHANCE TO PROVE THAT SHE IS NO COMMON CRIMINAL AND DOES NOT DESERVE 45 DAYS IN JAIL.
