Song Of The Day Part II: Paramore "Pressure"
Paramore
"Pressure"
Tell me where our time went
And if it was time well spent
Just don't let me fall asleep
Feeling empty again
Cause I fear I might break
and I fear I can't take it
Tonight I'll lie awake feeling empty
I can feel the pressure
It's getting closer now
We're better off without you
I can feel the pressure
It's getting closer now
We're better off without you
Now that I'm losing hope
And there's nothing else to show
For all of the days that we spent
Carried away from home
Some things I'll never know
And I had to let them go
I'm sitting all alone feeling empty
I can feel the pressure
It's getting closer now
We're better off without you
I can feel the pressure
It's getting closer now
We're better off without you
Without you
Some things I'll never know
And I had to let them go
Some things I'll never know
And I had to let them go
I'm sitting all alone feeling empty
I can feel the pressure
It's getting closer now
You're better off without me
Feel the pressure
It's getting closer now
You're better off without me
Song Of The Day: James Morisson "Wonderful World"
From the album: Undiscovered (2007)
James Morrison
"Wonderful World"
I've been down so low
people look at me and they know,
they can tell something is wrong
like I don't belong,
well, staring through a window
standing outside there just too happy to care tonight
and I wanna be like them
but I'll mess it up again,
I tripped them out when God kicked outside everybody's soul.
And I know that it's a wonderful world
But I cant feel it right now,
I thought I was doing well
but I just want to cry now,
Well I know that its a wonderful world
from the sky down to the sea,
but I can only see when you're here,
here with me.
Sometimes I feel so full
that it just comes spilling out,
it's uncomfortable to see
I give it away so easily,
but if I had someone I would do anything
and never never never never let you feel alone
I wont,
I wont leave you on your own,
who am I to dream?
dreams are for fools,
they let you down.
And I know that it's a wonderful world
But I cant feel it right now,
I thought I was doing well but I just want to cry now,
Well I know that its a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea,
but I can only see when you're here, here with me.
And I wish that I could make it better,
I'd give anything for you to call me,
Maybe just a little letter
Oh it could start again.
And I know that it's a wonderful world
But I cant feel it right now,
I thought I was doing well but I just want to cry now,
Well I know that its a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea,
but I can only see when you're here, here with me.
I know that its a wonderful world
but I cant feel it right now,
I've got all the right clothes to wear
I just wanna cry now,
I know that it's a wonderful world from the sky down 2 the sea,
But I can only see well when you're here,
here with me.
And I know that it's a wonderful world
When you're with me.

Song Of The Day: Mark Ronson Featuring Daniel Merriweather "Stop Me"
Click here to watch the video (as seen on VH1):
MARK RONSON
"Stop Me"(feat. Daniel Merriweather)
(Cover of
The Smiths "Stop Me If You Think That You've Heard This One Before" (1987))
From the album "Version" (2007)
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've
Heard this one before
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
Nothing's changed
I still love you, oh, I still love you ...
Only slightly, only slightly less
than I used to,
my love
I was delayed,
I was way-laid
An emergency stop
I smelt the last ten seconds of life
I crashed down on the crossbar
And the pain was enough to make
A shy, bald, buddhist reflect
And plan a mass murder
Who said lied I'd to her ?
Who said I'd lied because I never
I never
Who said I'd lied because I never
I was detained,
I was restrained
And broke my knee
And broke my spleen
and then he really laid into me
Friday night
in Out-patients
Who said I'd lied to her ?
Oh, who said I'd lied ? - because I never, I never
Who said I'd lied ? - because I never
Oh, so I drank one
It became four
And when I fell on the floor ......
I drank more
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've
Heard this one before
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
Cause nothing's changed
I still love you,
oh, I still love you ...
Only slightly, only slightly less
than I used to,
my love
Set me free why don't you
get out my life why don't you
Cause you don't really love me, no
You just keep me hanging on
Set me free
why don't you babe
get out my life why dont you baby
Cause you don't really love me, no, no
You just keep me hanging on

Song Of The Day Part II: Celebrating LIBERATION AND FREEDOM! Bon Jovi "It's My Life"
BON JOVI
"It's My Life" (unplugged)
This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud
It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
It's my life
My heart is like the open highway
Like Frankie said "I did it my way"
I just wanna live while I'm alive
It's my life
This is for the ones who stood their ground
It's for Tommy and Gina who never backed down
Tomorrow's getting harder make no mistake
Luck ain't even lucky
Got to make your own breaks
It's my life
And it's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
It's my life
My heart is like the open highway
Like Frankie said "I did it my way"
I just want to live while I'm alive
'Cause it's my life
Better stand tall when they're calling you out
Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down
[Chorus:]
It's my life
And it's now or never
'Cause I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive

Song Of The Day: Katharine McPhee "Home"
KATHARINE MCPHEE
"Home"
You are the world within the world that I exist
You are the touch that just won't fade
You are the end and beginning of each and every day
You are the reason I stay sane
It's hard to see beautiful
Oh, it's hard to see beautiful
In your own eyes
But you make me beautiful
For the very first time
Does anybody know what it's like
To feel larger than life
To look deep in your soul
And know you're not alone
Does anybody know how it feels
To find something that's real
And make it your own
That's when you know that you found home
Home
You found home
Home
And when the strings inside me
Unravel to the ground
You are the hand that gathers me up
And when I'm laughing so hard
That I can hardly breathe
How do you know just when enough's enough
Oh, it's hard to feel beautiful
Oh, it's hard to feel beautiful in your own skin
But you make me
You make me beautiful
Over and over again
Does anybody know what it's like
To feel larger than life
To look deep in your soul
And know you're not alone
Does anybody know how it feels
To find something that's real
And make it your own
That's when you know that you found home
Home
You found home
Home
Don't let me down
'Cause I've waited all my life
To find, yeah
Does anybody know what it's like
To feel larger than life
To look deep in your soul

PARIS HILTON RELEASED FROM JAIL
Paris Hilton has just been released from jail at 12:15am PST Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Her parents Rick and Kathy Hilton arrived at Century Regional Detention Facility moments ago to pick Paris up and take her to their Bel Air home tonight. The media frenzy was bigger than ever, with paparazzi running fast after the Black Cadillac Escalade which is now transporting Paris and her parents to Bel Air at this time.
Paris' first post-jail interview will air on Larry King Live on CNN this Wednesday night at 9pm EST (tomorrow) June 27, 2007.
I am so happy that Paris is out! She worked that "runway" in front of CRDF with a huge, beautiful smile, obviously happy to be finally free.

Song Of The Day: The Bravery "Time Won't Let Me Go"
THE BRAVERY
"Time Won't Let Me Go"
Whenever I look back
On the best days of my life
I think I saw them all on T.V.
I am so homesick now for
Someone that I never knew
I am so homesick now for
Someplace I will never be
Time won't let me go
Time won't let me go
If I could do it all again
I'd go back and change everything
But time won't let me go
I never had a 'Summer of 69'
Never had a Cherry Valance of my own
All these precious moments
You promised me would come in time
So where was I when I missed mine?
Time won't let me go
Time won't let me go
If you gave me back those years
I'd do it all better I swear
Time won't let me go
If I could go back once again
I would change everything, yeah
If I could go back once again
I'd do it all so much better
Time won't let me go
Time won't let me go
If I could do it all again
I'd go back and change everything

Paris Hilton Talks To Ryan Seacrest From Century Regional Detention Facility
Paris Hilton is really sick of all the trash talk that's going on about her (and so am I). She called into Ryan Seacrest's show and gave him an exclusive third week interview from jail . Here's what she had to say:
"I'm so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food. You know my gratitude has gone up so much and I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it. Frankly [I'm] sick of it and I want to use my fame in a good way."
"I am behind glass and I want to give my dad a big hug and they won't even let me do that (on Father's Day). That's how the rules are, you have to be behind glass. I'm not a criminal, I'm not dangerous, so it makes me feel like that. It's hard but I'm stronger everyday."
"I just can't wait to see my family and have a nice meal and be in my own bed and appreciate all the things I took for granted and never really thought much about."
Paris gets out of jail this Monday June 25, 2007. She also confirmed to Ryan that she is claustrophobic and was having extreme panic attacks when she was first put in the small cell, but said she's getting used to it.
Maybe Ryan told her about his interview with me last Thursday on his 102.7 KIIS FM L.A. morning radio show and how I defended her vehemently live on the air...
One can only wonder.

Song Of The Day: "Broken" Seether ft./Amy Lee of Evanescence
Featured on the soundtrack of the 2004 film "The Punisher", then lovers Amy Lee and Seether frontman Shaun Morgan sang a deeply moving rock ballad which exudes timeless beauty three years later. Amy Lee went on to record "Call Me When You're Sober" with her band Evanescence, an ode to Morgan after their failed relationship and broken engagement when he entered rehab last year.
"Broken"
Seether featuring Amy Lee
I wanted you to know
I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

And I don't feel right when you're gone away
You've gone away
you don't feel me,
anymore
The worst is over now
and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
There's so much left to learn, and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
'Cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away'

Ashlee Simpson In The Studio Working On Material For New Album
As we wait to see when Ashlee Simpson's new album will be completed and released, here is one track off her last album "I Am Me". It is a moody ballad that captures the essence of loneliness.
"Catch Me When I Fall"
Is anybody out there
Does anybody see
That when the lights are off something's killing me
I know it seems like people care
Cause they're always around me
But when the day is done and everybody runs
Who will be the one to save me from myself
Who will be the one who's there
And not ashamed to see me crawl
Who's gonna catch me when I fall
When the show is over
And it's empty everywhere
It's hard to face going back alone
So I walk around the city
Anything, anything to clear my head
I've got nowhere to go
nowhere but home
Who will be the one to save me from myself
Who will be the one who's there
And not ashamed to see me crawl
Who's gonna catch me when I fall
It may seem I have everything
But everything means nothing
When the ride that you've been on
That you're coming off
Leaves you feeling lost
Is anybody out there
Does anybody see
That sometimes loneliness is just a part of me
Who will be the one to save me from myself?
Who will be the one who's there
And not ashamed to see me crawl?
Who's gonna catch me when I fall?
Who's gonna catch me when I fall?
Who's gonna catch me when I fall
And not ashamed to see me crawl?
Who's gonna catch me when I fall?

Why Do People Kick People When They Are Down?
Paris Hilton is expected to be released from jail a week from today, but the heiress is already receiving flack for last week's media circus in front of her home from her Hollywood Hills neighbors.
Two of Ms. Hilton's neighbors, Christopher Hauck and Anne Goursaud, are complaining that they are sick and tired of having her live nearby and everything that entails - constant paparazzi waiting outside, house parties and the helicopters that kept hovering that one day she was sent back to jail.
Now, Christopher and Anne are trying to mobilize their other neighbors, emailing their city councilman and considering hiring a lawyer.
A flyer stating this information was found near Paris' house this past weekend. They have stated that they are considering bringing an attorney into the mix.
Why can't this woman just be released and live her life without these blatant attacks from every angle? All of these people attacking her in this fashion are outrageous and ridiculous!

Kristy Swanson Arrested In Canada
Actress Kristy Swanson was arrested last night in Canada for allegedly assaulting the ex-wife of her current boyfriend and "Skating With Celebrities" partner Lloyd Eisler.
People magazine reports that Swanson claims she was attacked by Eisler's ex Marcia O'Brien, though no charges have been filed against O'Brien yet. Drama erupted between Swanson and O'Brien last year when Kristy began an affair with the very married Eisler. Eisler eventually left O'Brien for Swanson, and the two became the parents of a son in February 2007.
Swanson plans to file charges against O'Brien and the police have reportedly taken pictures of injuries on her upper body that Kristy says were inflicted upon her by O'Brien. Kristy was released on $500 (Canadian) bail.
Paris Hilton Receives A Visit In Jail From Her Family
"It's tough. It is," said Kathy Hilton, who saw Paris in jail on Tuesday. "It's just one hour a week: 30 minutes on Sunday and 30 minutes on Tuesday. We talk through glass." "And this one" – gesturing to Paris' sister Nicky – "left in hysterics," Kathy added. "Nicky tried to keep the brave face but – I never see Nicky cry."
Nicky described her visit to the jail on Sunday as surreal. "It's sad. It's like right out of the movies," she said. "The glass partition, the orange jumpsuit. Everything." Nicky spoke of what she saw as the unfairness in Paris's case. "What's annoying is all these people are going on television saying that she was drinking and driving," said Nicky. "She's not in jail for DUI. That's a big misconception. She's in jail for driving on a suspended license, just like the (City Attorney's) wife was. ... She got a $186 fine." (On the day he sought more jail time for Paris Hilton, Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo acknowledged his wife got a traffic ticket two years ago while driving with a suspended license. She received the ticket – and the $186 fine – for failing to obey a turn-only sign, but wasn't ticketed for driving with the suspended license).
Kathy Hilton reiterated Paris's statement that she will not fight her sentence, which could end as early as June 25. "There are no appeals – as Paris said. But the point is that I hope this will shine a light on everybody (in those jails). That's the positive," said Kathy. The jails, she said, "need financial help, and it's very sad to see what's going on in there." Kathy adds: "I always believe that where there's a negative there's a positive. And I feel that maybe this whole ordeal can shed light on other people, and that really maybe everybody should be treated exactly the same. I don't care who you are. As Paris said, she's just going to do her time and try to make the best of it, and hopefully" – she paused, chocking back emotion – "I always believe there's a reason for everything."

Paris Hilton Talks To Barbara Walters
Paris Hilton Speaks To Barbara Walters From Jail
Exclusive From Barbara Walters
As Seen on Monday June 11, 2007
Episode of "The View" on ABC
Barbara Walters: On Sunday at 3 p.m., Paris Hilton phoned me collect from jail. Prisoners must call collect. The unusual conversation came about because Kathy Hilton, Paris' mother, had phoned me, and while we were talking, Paris called on the other line. When she heard I was talking to her mother, she said she'd like to talk to me herself.
She sounded tired but totally aware of what she was saying."How are you?" I asked. Paris answered, "I'm hanging in there." But she declared, "I feel as if I'm a different person. I've dropped my appeal. I don't want to cause any more problems."I asked what happened in the jail that led to her being released or reassigned to her home. She said she had not been wailing, sobbing or screaming as had been described."But," she said, "I was not eating or sleeping. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. I was not myself. It was a horrible experience.""How are you different?" I asked.
"I'm not the same person I was," she said. "I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who looked up to me. I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I have been thinking that I want to do different things when I am out of here. I have become much more spiritual. God has given me this new chance."
I asked what kinds of things she might want to do. She said she would like to help in the fields of breast cancer -- her grandmother had breast cancer -- or multiple sclerosis. Her father's mother suffers from that disease. She thought she might get toy companies to build a kind of Paris Hilton playhouse, where sick children might come, and the toy companies could donate toys. She has had a person whom she described as a spiritual adviser who said, "My spirit or soul did not like the way I was being seen and that is why I was sent to jail.""God," she said, "has released me."
She is reading newspapers -- The LA Times and the Wall Street Journal -- and books like "The Secret," "The Power of Now" and the Bible. When she is not in her room, she can play ping pong. She said the other women had all been friendly and the guards had been fair. She wears the proscribed prison garb: an orange or brown jumpsuit. She is not allowed makeup. She said that her skin was very dry and that she was not allowed cream."It doesn't matter," she said, "I'm not that superficial girl. I haven't looked in the mirror since I got here." She said, "I feel that the purpose of my life is to be where I am. However, usually with a situation like mine, the person serves 10 percent of their time. I have already served 30 percent of my time. I hope if there is overcrowding in the jail, I would be let out before someone with a much more serious crime."

STATEMENT FROM PARIS HILTON
Paris Hilton has issued the following statement through her attorney:
"Today I told my attorneys not to appeal the judge's decision. While I greatly appreciate the Sheriff's concern for my health and welfare, after meeting with doctors I intend to serve my time as ordered by the judge.
This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. During the past several days, I have had a lot of time to reflect and have already learned a bitter, but important lesson from this experience. I believe that I am learning and growing from this experience.
As I have said before, I hope others will learn from my mistake. I have also had time to read the mail from my fans. I very much appreciate all of their good wishes and hope they will keep their letters coming.
Thank you as well to my family who has always stood by me. I love you and miss you so much!
I must also say that I was shocked to see all of the attention devoted to the amount of time I would spend in jail for what I had done by the media, public and city officials. I would hope going forward that the public and the media will focus on more important things, like the men and women serving our country in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places around the world."

OUTRAGE: PARIS HILTON SENT BACK TO JAIL FOR 45 DAYS
JUDGE SAUER HAS USED SUBJECTIVE JUSTICE AND ABUSED HIS POWER TODAY BY SENDING A CRYING, DISTRAUGHT PARIS HILTON BACK TO JAIL, SCREAMING FOR HER MOM AND DRAGGED BY COURT OFFICERS FROM THE COURTROOM WHILE HER PARENTS LOOKED ON APPARANTLY IN HORROR AND DISBELIEF.
THE SUBJECT OF PARIS' MEDICAL CONDITION THAT HER PSYCHIATRIST DR. CHARLES SOPHY DIAGNOSED PARIS WITH WAS NOT ENTERTAINED BY JUDGE SAUER AS REQUESTED BY MS. HILTON'S DEFENSE ATTORNEY. JUDGE SAUER WAS REPORTEDLY UPSET THAT MEDICAL DOCUMENTS REGARDING MS. HILTON'S CASE WERE NOT FURNISHED TO HIM IN THE COURTROOM AND THEREFORE HE REFUSED TO ENTERTAIN CONVERSATION FURTHER ABOUT THE MEDICAL ASPECT OF THE SITUATION.
IT IS CLEAR PARIS IS AN INNOCENT VICTIM IN A POLITICAL TUG-OF-WAR AND POWER STRUGGLE BETWEEN SHERIFF BACA AND JUDGE SAUER.
AT THIS TIME, MS, HILTON IS REPORTEDLY HOUSED IN THE MEDICAL UNIT AT THE TWIN TOWERS MEN'S JAIL IN LOS ANGELES. REPORTEDLY, PARIS BECAME HYSTERICAL WHILE BEING PROCESSED BACK INTO LYNWOOD AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE MEDICAL UNIT AT TWIN TOWERS.
Awaiting Paris' Fate...Again
Home, but not free (yet) , we pray for Paris Hilton as she is scheduled to appear today in front of the same judge who sentenced her to jail initially, Judge Michael Sauer. This woman has been through enough!
In what is being called the most media covered celebrity court case since O.J. Simpson's 1990's Bronco chase and murder trial, Paris Hilton returned to court moments ago via a County Sheriff's squad car. Her parents, Rick & Kathy arrived to court in a black Escalade SUV moments after.

"Momager" Dina Lohan To Visit Lindsay Lohan in Rehab
PARIS HILTON RELEASED FROM JAIL; REASSIGNED TO HOUSE ARREST FOR 40 DAYS
Paris Hilton was released from Century Regional Detention Facility earlier today at about 2:30am PST/ 5:30am EST. She was fitted with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and her sentence reassigned from CRDF in Lynwood to her home in L.A. She was placed on house arrest for the next 40 days.
Welcome back, Paris!
Richard A. Hutton, attorney for Paris Hilton, just issued the following statement on behalf of Ms. Hilton:
"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."
The following is a statement released by the Probation Department in Los Angeles:
"Paris Hilton was granted a conditional sentence in Los Angeles Metro Superior Court on January 22, 2007. A conditional sentence or "summary probation" is monitored by the court for compliance unless the court orders formal probation. Although not on formal probation, Ms. Hilton is supervised by the Los Angeles County probation department in regards to electronic monitoring.Electronic Monitoring is an integral part of community-based alternatives to custody.
The Electronic Monitoring (EM) program is available to Los Angeles County Courts as an alternative to custody in accordance with penal code. The probation department contracts with a private vendor to provide electronic monitoring services. Eligible post-sentence inmates are screened for eligibility or it may be court-ordered either prior to conviction as a pretrial release or after conviction as a sentence option.
Paris Hilton applied for the community based alternative to custody program and qualified as low-risk but the department did not recommend Electronic Monitoring because the court order specified ''no Electronic Monitoring.' The Sheriff Department exercised the authority to reassign Ms. Hilton to an Electronic Monitoring sentence."

Paris Hilton Update From Jail
'The Simple Life' and "House Of Wax" star Paris Hilton is reportedly freezing cold and hardly sleeping due to the lack of darkness and the all night noise in the jail since entering to begin her 23 day sentence on Sunday.
Hilton's lawyer told reporters outside the jail yesterday that she is "using this time to reflect on her life, to see what she can do to make the world better". Attorney Richard A Hutton said: "Her attitude is: 'I'm going to come in here, I'm going to do my time, get it over with, and I'm going to show the world who I really am'."
"This is unjust, unfair, and she really is, unfortunately, a victim of a system that we pride so much on being fair. But for Paris Hilton it is not," he said.
Hutton said that Hilton had been segregated from the general population of the prison for safety reasons.
"Because of who she is, they had no choice - and believe me, we are more interested in her safety more than anything else - but they had no choice but to place her in administrative segregation."
Hilton reported to jail late on Sunday shortly after attending the MTV Movie Awards.

HALL OF SHAME: Worst Offensive People In The Spotlight June 2007
Sarah Silverman, who ridiculed Paris Hilton (who attended the event) unnecessarily in front of the world with her insulting crappy jokes at the most lame Movie Awards show in the history of MTV. She also made some crude jokes about Lindsay Lohan and insulted our friend Spidey, Tobey Maguire. Both Tobey and Paris were more than nice when I met them recently (separately). SHAMEFUL!
Dina Lohan. As her daughter, superstar Lindsay Lohan, sits in rehab in Los Angeles for drug and alcohol addiction for the second time in 6 months, Dina is working on her very own reality show in New York called "Momager" where she tries to make Lindsay's little sister and brother, Aliana and Dakota, famous like Lindsay. DOUBLE SHAMEFUL!
Both women have exhibited equally disgusting and deplorable behavior.
Paris Hilton Is In Jail; Began Her 23 Day Sentence 11:23 PM PST/ 2:23 AM EST
Paris Hilton left directly from the MTV Movie Awards and went to her parent's home, where her attorney Richard Hutton, her mother Kathy Hilton (pictured above with Paris) and her sister Nicky, accompanied Paris as she turned herself in to the authorities to begin her 23 Day jail sentence.
Hilton's lawyer, Richard Hutton, has released the following statement for Paris:
"I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks, I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes. This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence."
A very dark day indeed.
A moment of silence and prayer for Ms. Hilton.

Paris Hilton Attends MTV Movie Awards in L.A; Opens Up About Upcoming Incarceration
Paris Hilton put her best foot forward and put on a brave face for the media at MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles earlier this evening, just hours before she will turn herself in at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California.
For the first time since her sentencing, Paris breaks her silence and opens up about her true feelings about her unfortunate circumstance.
Ms. Hilton told SuChin Pak of MTV News "I'm doing OK, I'm obviously a little scared right now.".
"I am trying to be strong right now," said Hilton, who wore a gorgeous black strapless dress and jewels.
Paris said her family, friends and fans have helped her prepare for her nearly three-week sentence behind bars, which begins no later than Tuesday, June 5th, 2007.
"I've received thousands of letters from around the world of support and it's really been inspirational and really helped me," she said. "I'm really scared but I'm ready to do this. And I hope that I'm an example to other young people."
Hilton could start serving her time at before Tuesday but did not reveal whether she would wait until the last moment.
"I did have a choice to go to a pay jail," said Hilton. "But I declined because I feel like the media portrays me in a way that I'm not and that's why I wanted to go to county, to show that I can do it and I'm going to be treated like everyone else. I'm going to do the time, I'm going to do it the right way."
"Even these past couple weeks, it's completely changed my life," she said.
"Even though it's a scary thing I'm using it in a positive way and when I come out, I can't wait to start my new life and be even stronger than I am now."
Once inside the awards venue, Paris endured a tirade of cruel jokes about her past sex tape and her upcoming jail time from host Sarah Silverman, followed by an small section of audible applause by non-Paris fans. Paris was strong and cracked a smile during the insulting segment by Silverman, although in my opinion she appeared visibly bothered by the cruel jokes, as I would have been as well if I were her. I actually found the jokes by Sarah Silverman dry and tasteless and a senseless attack an Paris' unfortunate situation. And the MTV Movie Awards sucked anyway this year, Paris and Amy Winehouse's performance of "Rehab" being the highlights of the evening.
"I love the Movie Awards," Paris said before the show began. "It's fun. I wanted to do something nice before I went off."
Our Thoughts And Prayers Are With Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is due to check into Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California, within the next 2 days. Our thoughts and prayers are with Paris in this very difficult time. Paris has the love and support of her family and friends as well as her fans and supporters like myself and millions of others worldwide.
The petition (although at this point it's been seemingly unsuccessful) has collected over 30,000 signatures.

Botticelli's "La Primavera": Hollywood Style
La Primavera is one of artist Sandro Botticelli's best known paintings. The angelic figures shown in this ethereal work of art all represent mythological characters. The fluid movement and delicate beauty of the Three Graces are present and alive in the painting. According to Greek mythology, the Three Graces represent beauty, charm and joy.

Inspirational Words In Hollywood's Time Of Crisis
BRITNEY SPEARS
"Someday (I Will Understand)"
Nothing seems to be the way
That it used to
Everything seems shallow
God give me truth
In me
And tell me somebody is watching
Over me
And that is all I'm praying is that
Someday I will understand
In God's whole plan
And what he's done to me
Oh but maybe
Someday I will breathe
And I'll finally see
I'll see it all in my baby
Don't you run too fast my dear
Why don't you stop?
Just stop and listen to your tears
They're all you've got
It's in you
You see somebody is watching
Over you
And that is all I'm praying is that
Someday you will understand
In God's whole plan
And what he does to you
Oh but maybe
Someday you will breathe
And you'll finally see
You'll see it all in your baby
You'll see it all in your baby
No moment
Will be more true
Than the moment
I look at you
It's in you
You see somebody is watching
Over you
And that is all
I'm praying is that
