The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

Chloe Lattanzi worked the stage and the crowd, performing last but definitely not least, on MTV's Rock The Cradle last Thursday.
Chloe performed I Hate Everything About You by rockers 3 Days Grace and she really got into the performance, even more than the prior week when she performed Never Tear Us Apart by INXS (when INXS was led by the late Michael Hutchince, who died November 1997). Although I also like Landon Brown a lot, Chloe is the whole package. Landon needs a tad bit of work on his vocals, although he is good in every other aspect.
Chloe is my favorite. Let's hope she goes all the way to the finals!

Rapper/reality TV star Vanilla Ice was arrested last night in Florida for an alleged domestic dispute with his wife, Laura Van Winkle.
The cops arrived to their home (after Laura called 911) to find Vanilla Ice (real name Robert Van Winkle) near his home on his motorcycle, where Ice said he was "cooling off" after the incident. Police determined that Laura didn't have any visible injuries on her and she then explained to the authorities that Ice had pushed her, but not hit or kicked her as originally stated in the 911 call. Laura also told the cops who arrived on the scene that she wants a divorce from the one-time rapper and that the incident started over her purchasing a bedroom set, which reportedly set Vanilla Ice off into a rage.
Ice told police that his wife suffers bipolar disorder and that she is currently being treated for it with medications. He said she had been acting irrational and he denied any physical interaction with Laura.
Vanilla Ice spent the night in jail and showed up at a court in Palm Beach County, Florida earlier this morning, where Judge Nancy Perez ordered Ice to stay away from Laura. The former rapper can have telephone contact only with her. In addition, he can only have temporary contact with his children through a mutual family friend and Ice can go to the house one time only to retrieve his personal belongings with a police escort.
Vanilla Ice was also arrested back in 2004 for a charge of domestic battery.

The 22 year old actress is expected to plead "no contest" for her DUI charge and will likely get 3 years probation served to her by a Beverly Hills judge along with 3months of alcohol education classes and a fine of about $1, 700.
"Obviously I'm 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't know what to say about it, except that I'm not perfect, and I just don't ever intend to do something this stupid again."
Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez has reportedly chosen actor Tom Cruise as the Godfather of her newborn twins Max and Emme, both whom she just welcomed into the world in late February along with her husband and father of the twins, singer Marc Anthony.
La Lopez allegedly had to do some real convincing to get Marc Anthony (full name Marco Antonio Muniz) to agree to the decision with some hesitation and resistance to the idea. Sources say the values of Lopez and Anthony's traditional Catholic upbringing paired with newly appointed Godfather Tom Cruise's Scientology involvement, may cause the parents of Lopez and Anthony and their respective families to be uncomfortable with Lopez's decision.
This reportedly escalated into an incident where the supermodel allegedly pushed and spit on a police officer, resisted arrest and was handcuffed and escorted off the flight with the remaining two of her three carry on bags and then placed in custody of London police until she was released on bail several hours later. Campbell also reportedly screamed "get off of me, don't put your hands on me" at the arresting officers during the incident.
Reportedly, Campbell recently stated to the media that she feels she has been targeted in this incident because she is black.

The 40 year old singer of hits like "Unbreak My Heart" and "Breathe Again" cancelled her show in Vegas because of this health scare incident. Braxton reportedly had a similar episode while on Broadway in NYC performing in the stage hit Aida several years ago.
Toni Braxton's show entitled, "Toni Braxton: Revealed," is set to go on as scheduled for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Vegas' Flamingo Showroom as a part of her two year contract (which began late summer 2006).
The singer is expected to be treated if necessary and released after standard tests are performed. Her incident is reportedly not life-threatening.

MTV had developed a new reality show with a focus on the children of celebrities in the music industry. The show is called Rock The Cradle and it features Landon Brown (son of Bobby Brown), Chloe Lattanzi (daughter of Olivia Newton-John) and Jesse Money (daughter of Eddie Money) among others.
It is a pretty good show and the three I mentioned (pictured above) are my favorites so far. All the contestants will compete for a contract with a major record label. Larry Rudolph (former/possible future manager of Britney Spears) is one of the four judges (and let me tell you that Larry is HARSH on the contestants)!
Rock The Cradle airs Thursdays at 10pm EST on MTV. Check your local listings.

So it seems that the rumors were true after all. Jay-Z and Beyonce appear to have wed on Friday Night at Jay-Z's multi-million dollar penthouse on Hudson Street at Desbrosses and Vestry Street in the TriBeCa section of Lower Manhattan.
I rushed over with my camera as soon as I heard the rumors (after all, I don't live far from there). Solange (sister of Beyonce) showed up (pictured above). Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, singer Chris Martin of the band ColdPlay arrived (trying to cover their faces) to a media frenzy. Oscar winner Forest Whitaker showed up. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child showed up hiding behind umbrellas to shield themselves from the paparazzi crush.
A fight between two photographers on the scene almost escalated to full-force mayhem when they began a push and shove match to get Gwyneth Paltrow's picture upon the actress' entrance into the luxury building where the event was being held.
Also in attendance were Gloria Carter (mother of Jay-Z) and Tina and Mathew Knowles (parents of Beyonce).
The event was rumored to be a celebration for Jay-Z's newly inked $150 million dollar deal with Live Nation, but quickly turned toward the idea that it was a wedding when guest arrived dressed impeccably and parents of both artists arrived, flowers were delivered, etc.

Recently, a Washington DC court ordered Follieri to pay almost $250,000 to a public relations firm that he still owes for work they did.
Singer Beyonce Knowles and rapper Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) appear to be getting married right now in the TriBeCa section of Lower Manhattan in NYC. All the Knowles' clan are there dressed in their Sunday best, flowers, the whole thing. The two have been involved in a hush-hush relationship since 2002 and they recently applied for a marriage license in Scardale Village, New York on April 1st (April Fools Day) and now this.
If it is true, congrats to the superstar couple.
The Grammy nominated, 26 year old rapper is being held on Riker's Island until her sentencing date in court on April 23rd, where she is facing a maximum of 25 years in prison.

The 37 year old model reportedly became angered when she realized (while boarding the jet from the First Class Lounge at Heathrow Airport's new Terminal 5) that one of her three carry-on bags were missing.
While Campbell was being escorted off the flight by officers, she reportedly screamed hysterically at officers: "Get off me...leave me ALONE! Don't put your hands on me!" and also allegedly spit on one of the officers.
Campbell was taken to the police station and in Scotland Yard before making bail and being released from custody. Naomi Campbell is due in court in London in May for this incident.
